Volcano Jobs is a personal job-search dashboard. Its public guest demo uses fictional listings and does not require Gmail access.

Gmail access

The dashboard operator authorizes read-only access to a Gmail account. The scheduled ingestion workflow looks for labeled job-alert emails from sources such as Wellfound, Built In, and LinkedIn. It reads matching messages to extract job leads for the private Email Leads queue. The Gmail permission allows reading mailbox data. The workflow uses the label to select messages and does not send, edit, or delete email.

What is stored and who can access it

GitHub Actions runs the ingestion workflow and stores its Gmail credentials in repository secrets. Supabase hosts the extracted job leads, which can include company names, job titles, posting links, and source information. These leads are available in the private dashboard. Volcano Jobs does not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, or display it in the public demo.

Revoking access and deleting leads

The mailbox owner can remove Volcano Jobs from their Google Account connections to stop future access. Revoking access does not delete leads already saved in Supabase. The dashboard operator can delete those records separately.
